Brazil Spending vs. Comparable Items in US
This graph shows how much I've spent - always converted into US dollars - and how much I estimate comparable items would cost in the US. As you can see, here in Brazil the things I have bought are cheaper than in the US, in general.

How do I get the data for my graphs, you ask? Well, I record everything I spend, let Excel convert from reais to dollars, and then I estimate how much I would have paid for a comparable item in the States. Listerine is an easy one, rent is not.

Again, check back in 3 weeks, when I'll have the February pages up. March will follow shortly thereafter, as I figure out this web stuff.
