Paradise on $5,000 a Year?

In February I spent a little less than January, as most of the month was spent at the beach, where costs were fewer and life was simpler. Big-ticket purchases were a trip to São Paulo (about $30), a o/w flight from São Paulo back to Porto Alegre (about $85), and wine for my uncle, who won a bet on a soccer game (about $5).

The projected spending for 2005 is still hovering above the $5,000 goal I've set for myself. Pray for me.
