The biggest expenses in March were odd ones.

First of all, I had to pay about $40 for the import tax on eyeglasses that I had delivered to me here from the States. Note to you: lie on the customs form when you send me stuff. I also had to take a taxi to the airport in São Paulo, which set me back another $30. Furthermore, I bought a DSL modem for a ripe $90 (they don't bundle them in with your service here) and still shelled out $35 for the phone bill while I tried to get the modem to work. All that adds up to an expensive month!
