Brazil Spending vs. Comparable Items in US

No luck with an economic upswing this month. The dollar continued to fall, and my eyes continued to be larger than my pocketbook.

Gasoline was a big tipper of the scales in this month. Each gallon here costs approximately $4, so my trips back and forth to school in April really added up.

As you'll notice below, my beer count took a strong upward turn, as we had many many birthday parties in April, one of which was mine. I got a couple bottles of wine for my birthday, along with a shirt and a cake. I ate the shirt, drank the cake, and have been wearing my wine all month! Thanks guys!
